UNESCO recognizes the challenges faced in education worldwide through its Sustainable Development Goals to be achieved by 2030. For instance, early childhood development activities, skills training for obtaining employment and the access to education for all regardless of gender, community, and economic status (an inclusive approach), are just a few solutions to enable children to have a better education and develop their full potential.
What’s in it for us?
It takes leadership to improve education and see its positive impact globally.
It takes courage to make education a priority and provide resources to initiate change.
Recently, we’ve been seeing more and more initiatives being developed to bring innovate ideas focused on ‘doing things differently’ in classrooms; from its environment, training programs, access, openness, inclusion, and resources.
The first year of the education theme at the Cooperathon (2017) was a true success for the excitement it generated, but also for the diversity and richness it provided in developing sustainable solutions to the challenges of education worldwide. In this competition, universal skills such as collaboration, co-creation and problem solving are examined by passionate educational experts and many others.
We look forward to working with you.
